Welcome to EDP - Employee Development Planning

How to use the results

By Poul Langagergaard

In order for the EDP meetings to be as beneficial as possible, you must strive to fulfill a number of conditions.

The EDP meetings are confidential conversations between each employee and their line manager.  However, the major trends from all EDP meetings must be summarised in very measureable categories and reported back to the employees at a team meeting and also to the top management.

This unique EDP electronic system excels in this area, by automatically calculating major trends and generating graphical overviews for reporting purposes.

The major trends provide a basis for specific initiatives, which can be measured during EDP meetings the following year. This makes EDP meaningful in a broader context and increases credibility, as both employees and managers see the outcome and makes a united organisational development possible.
